Neurofeedback is a modality for the brain that uses EEG sensors with visual and auditory feedback for optimal brain functioning. We can use neurofeedback to train the brain via the brainwaves to think better, feel better and perform better. It can be used for; memory loss, ADHD, Parkinson’s, Alzheimers, Stroke Rehabilitation and Neuroplacticity, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Sleep, Brain Fog, Fatigue, Hormone Balancing, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, OCD, Addictions, Cognitive Enhancement, Creativity, Stress Management, Substance Cessation, Grief Support, Improvements in Food Cravings and overeating, Impulsivity, Optimizing Athletic Performance, Remediate Cognitive Deficits after Chemotherapy, Posture Stability, and some use it just for relaxation.
We know from neuroplasticity, what-fires-together-wires-together. 194 clinical trials show validity and replicability of results using neurofeedback for the above mentioned difficulties.
What is Neurofeedback?
Neurofeedback uses neuroscience and brain wave training to help magnify self-awareness for greater self-control. With consistent training there is improvement in emotional self-regulation and an overall calming aspect of the nervous system. Neurofeedback is safe, non-invasive, and without contraindication. It is a combination of psychology, neurology, morphology, engineering, and physics. It can help one monitor and change internal “states” that are related to how one thinks, feels, and performs.
These sessions begin using a finely tuned assessment to get a baseline reading of how the brain is functioning. Examples are some people are wired to be overactive, some underactive, some hyper-reactive. By determining where each individual is, we can then train the brain to speed up, slow down, or stop.We can train different areas of the brain and each session builds upon the last. By using EEG neurofeedback, we can mirror back to the brain how to have better shaped brainwaves and thus change the way we think and feel. Once these new neural pathways develop, they eventually become automatic. Just as you remember how to ride a bike, improvements made with neurofeedback are usually kept. Also, considering neurofeedback works directly with the brain, there is a wide range of symptoms that neurofeedback can help with.
It is recommended to schedule neurofeedback sessions once or twice a week for 12- 20 sessions, or sometimes more for severe neurological issues. There is a wide range of issues that can be helped with Brainpaint Neurofeedback. Some of those issues are memory loss, ADHD, Parkinson’s, Alzheimers, Stroke Rehabilitation and Neuroplacticity, Anxiety, Depression,Trauma, Sleep, Brain Fog, Fatigue, Hormone Balancing, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, OCD, Addictions, Cognitive Enhancement, Creativity, Stress Management, Substance Cessation, Grief Support, Improvements in Food Cravings and overeating, Impulsivity, Optimizing Athletic Performance, Remediate Cognitive Deficits after Chemotherapy, Posture Stability and Relaxation.
Neurofeedback is a powerful tool that can change lives and bring families closer together. It can help us react less in the external world.
