OUR SERVICES

Home Watch: Our Home Watch Service is valuable for seasonal vacationers, Arizona “Snowbirds,” and anyone who will be away from home. As a client, you have the option to schedule us to check your home once a week, every two weeks, every ten days, once a month, or based on the watering schedule of your plants. We accommodate all schedules! Each visit to your home includes a text update based on your personalized checklist, which can include plant watering, mail pick up, running water, meeting contractors for appointments, scheduling smoke alarm battery replacements, and more! Of course, if any concerns arise - from a struggling plant to a roof leak - we will get in touch with you according to your preferences.

$45 for 45-minute home watches, and $15 for every additional 15-minutes. If your home watch takes less than 45-minutes, we will reduce the charge accordingly.

Dog Walk: Away all day for work, work long hours, or simply have a pup in need of more exercise? We've got you covered with private walks for dogs who deserve that personalized attention - it's what we do best! All walks are arranged during set windows throughout the day and take place in your neighborhood along safe, favorite, and familiar routes. Walks can be a slow sniff 'n' smell potty break or a heart-thumping jaunt - we cater our walks to your dog's preferences, energy levels, and health requirements! Dog walks include TLC, poop pick-up, water & food bowl refresh (as requested), and medication administration if needed.

$40 for a 30-minute walk, and $15 for every additional 15-minutes.

Potty and Play: Is your puppy too young to walk or are medical conditions prohibiting your dog from typical walks? Is the Arizona heat or monsoon storms keeping your pooch inside or perhaps he/she just prefers backyard play? Not to worry! Our Potty ‘N’ Play Visits may just be the perfect solution for your pup! During your dog's set visit window, our sitters enrich your pooch with one-on-one play time, no matter what that looks like for your particular pup. We can play with favorite toys, work on any commands he/she may be learning that week, or we can bring over our pet-safe interactive toys, snuffle mats, and puzzle toys! Mental stimulation can be just as important as physical, especially if dog walks are not on the itinerary - In fact, interactive play can help dispel anxiety and unwanted nervous behaviors for both cats and dogs. Visits include TLC, water bowl and fountain refresh, potty time and clean-up, feeding of meals and treats, medication administration (if needed), and mail and trash pick-up upon request.

$30 for a 30-minute visit, and $15 for every additional 15-minutes.

Cat Sitting: When you go out of town, do you worry your kitty doesn't get the care and attention he or she needs? Does your cat hide away or act nervous? Do you have a playful cat that needs lots of attention and play time? No matter the individual feline, we will meet his or her needs with a customized routine! At each visit, pet sitters scoop litter and clean up litter box areas, feed and refresh water bowls, administer medication (when needed), and may brush, pet, or play with toys depending on cats’ desires. We've worked with extra shy cats and have a great track record of bringing wallflower kitties out of their shells! Our sitters adore playing with cat toys and are experts at "prey play," making sure to entertain energetic cats so they get their "hunting" in for the day! Some cats even enjoy feline-stimulated Internet videos, so we can play those for kitties who like videos. If time allows during our visit, we are also happy to water houseplants, bring in the newspaper & mail, and bring garbage and recycle bins to and from the curb.

Overnight Pet Sitting: When you go out of town, do you worry about your pets staying behind? Do you have a cat who thrives with more interaction or needs more supervision or frequent medication administration? Pets often prefer staying in the comfort and safety of their own home, especially so their typical routine and familiar environment can be maintained. See below for two different in-client-home pet sitting options, depending on the type of pet(s) you have at home. Each 24 hours of overnight pet-sitting includes the sleepover and four guaranteed potty breaks per day (first thing in the morning, mid-day, dinner time, and bedtime), one of which can be a walk for one or two dogs. It also includes all meals and feedings; medication administration when needed; adherence to your pets' routine; an abundance of TLC for your pets at home, and, as time allows, mail pick-up, home-watch services, garbage and recycling bins brought in and out, and watering of houseplants. While your home is base camp during your time away, your sitter will come and go for errands, other pet visits, and daily activities for approximately 4 hours at a time. You choose your sitter's arrival time on the first day (as long as it's within our current overnights hours), and that determines their departure time at the end of your 24-hour service on the last day. If you need more time beyond that, we offer additional coverage in 8-hour blocks. If you would like to add on extra visits or upgrade to round-the-clock care, Joyful Pets and Homes can create a special package for your needs.

Dog (or combined pet) overnights are $125 per day, and $25 for each additional pet beyond the first.

Cat-only overnights are $100 per day, and $25 for each additional cat beyond the second.
