Ceramics Club

It's not just ashtrays anymore! Come by the Ceramics Studio and see the lovely bowls, vases, geckos, holiday items and many other pieces. Visit with new friends, while you paint with the variety of colors and glazes available. Monitors are there to help you every step of the way. We have a two week trial period for beginners. You will receive a free practice piece. Tools and supplies are provided for you during that time. Stop by and try it! Whatever your taste in design is, we have something for everyone. It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned ceramist or trying it for the first time, you will be amazed at what you create. 

If you don't have room for one more piece of art in your home, join for the following reason: Each year, many club members volunteer their time and talent making bowls that are donated to the Green Valley "Empty Bowls Project". Those proceeds go to support the Green Valley Assistance Services and Food Voucher Program. 

Many of us also have fun creating items for the club to sell at the Quail Creek Fall Festival Arts and Craft Fair. All proceeds go back into the club to purchase new equipment and supplies. Our studio is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am - Noon. Also Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 1:00 - 4:00.

Our annual membership dues are $30. We have a large selection of greenware for sale priced from only 50 cents up to $20. We supply a wide variety of glazes and underglazes a no additional cost to you. If you choose a specialty glaze we can order it for you at your cost. 

You can use your own brushes and cleaning tools or you can purchase a starter kit at our studio.
