Do you like working with glass as an art medium? The Art Glass members design and build pieces from fusible COE96 glass, from slumping to jewelry making. In addition, you can create mosaics and work with stained glass creating beautiful works of art.

Come by the studio and ask the studio monitor to add your name & additional information to the new member sign-up sheet and you will be contacted.

To become a member there are 2 required classes:

1. Beginning Safety and Cutting with Glass
This is an introduction to glass cutting, safety, equipment, etc. This 2-hour Orientation class gives you an overview of the studio and the equipment we use.

Fee: No charge for this class
Dates: Arranged as needed
Time: Arranged as needed
Place: Art Glass Studio in the Creative Arts and Technology Center.

Glass and tools will be provided. Wear closed-toed shoes. No open containers of liquid are permitted in the studio.

If you decide to join you will be scheduled for the second required class, in which a fee is charged.

2. Introduction to Fusing and the Morton Cutting System
This Introduction to Fusing and the Morton Cutting System is a 4-hour class, which goes into more detail, and you will be creating a glass piece. Fee required.

Hours- October – May
Monday & Friday 9 AM TO 3 PM
Tuesday & Wednesday 9 AM – 6 PM
First & Third Saturday of the Month: 9 AM - 12 Noon
